Our chorus was founded by Beth Auldridge in 1995. Beth and her husband
Jack, own Regency Broadcasting, KDCD Country and MIX 105.
They moved here from Canyon, Texas, where Beth was a member of
Palo Duro Metro Chorus in Amarillo. She has been a member of Sweet
Adelines International for about 20 years.
Our chorus chartered in 1997. Our director Joanna Alexander, is
Beth's daughter, who moved to San Angelo after Beth. Her daughter Jill is also
a member of our chorus. These three women have all been members of Sweet
Adelines International for many years.

Our first year of competition was for evaluation only in 1997.
We did not place in our second year of competition, however,
we had lots of fun. Our third year of competition in 1999 produced
third place small chorus and most improved chorus awards.
In our competition this year, we placed third place small chorus for the second
consecutive year. These competitions were held in Beaumont and Houston, Texas
respectively. Our next competition will be held in Houston, Texas
in March or April of 2001. We would like to see additional members added
to journey with us to Houston and win first place!
